Role Description Provide technical and analytical support for Guy Carpenter Analytics (GCA) members and brokers located across Europe.. The focus will be on assistance to GCA senior staff supporting brokers to produce and maintain reinsurance programmes for existing and prospective clients and developing actuarial applications.

Key Responsibilities • Support GCA senior staff by providing detailed actuarial analysis • Present and discuss findings of GCA analysis to other GCA members as well as brokers • Develop and maintain internal actuarial applications, identify potential for improvement of the existing applications • Analyse actuarial data needs and translate them into databases • Data management, data handling and data analysis • Establish relationships within GC company and with industry peers • Adhere to GCA quality assurance procedures and professional standards • Management of client studies in our modelling tool MetaRisk. • Automation of some applications

Other Duties • Continue to develop knowledge of GCA relevant disciplines • Participation in R&D efforts

Essential: • Degree in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or other relevant discipline • Statistical / computing software, e.g. R • English language • Analytical and problem solving skills • Advanced PC literacy • Good communications skills • Good interpersonal skills

Desirable: • Relevant experience gained in the field of Actuarial/General (Re)Insurance/Statistics/Computer Science • Knowledge of non-life actuarial techniques • Knowledge of database design • SQL • Programming skills, e.g. VBA
