3-month Internship Program in Taiwan

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Laboratory (UAV Lab) in Tamkang University (TKU) in Taiwan is excited to announce a 3-month Internship Program. Since funded in 1995, the UAV Lab in TKU has been one of the most important laboratories in investigating new drone technologies, including the recent successful flight of the first solar-powered UAV in Taiwan.

Through the program, you will be able to experience the design, fabrication and flight tests of a UAV. Internships are available for undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, preferably in junior or senior level with background of aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering. This will be a wonderful opportunity to know better about Taiwan and our UAV Lab if you are interested in pursuing graduate study in Taiwan.

Applicants should submit a resume that details their relevant work and educational experiences, as well as a cover letter stating their interests to Dr. Fu-Yuen Hsiao at intern.tkuuav@gmail.com. Though a recommendation letter is not required, in the cover letter please provide a reference person with contact information. He/she may be contacted if necessary. All applicants must state the name of the internship in the subject line of the email. Please note that students graduating in the period of internship are not eligible.

The application deadline is 2 months before the internship starts. For example, if you intend to do the internship between March 2018 to May 2018, the deadline is at 23:59 pm, January 31st, 2018, Taiwan local time (GMT+8). The latest application must be submitted before July 31th, 2018 in order to do the internship between September 2018 to November 2018.
