Your Tasks

• Take the technical lead for High Temperature (HT) Fiber Optical Sensing solution development and projects
• Manage Fiber Optic Solution in projects
• Clarify customer requirements and set-up technical specification together with internal and external customers
• Design and construct technical solution for HT
• Plan and manage technical requirements and resources
• Develop, design and construct new HT sensor solutions together with R&D
• Manage fiber optical measurement methods and units
• Execute and support customer installations on-site
• Execution of various tests in house
• Documentation and reporting of the tests (internally and for customers)

• Substantial experience in industrial environment – preferably in metal industry
• Good knowledge of materials primarily metals
• Experience in leading complex technical projects
• Good mechanical skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Experience in technical project management
• University degree in technical science (preferred) or practical experience of at least 5 years
• Knowledge in photonics / optical fiber technology (preferred but not compulsory)
• Ability and willingness to build-up specific industry knowledge quickly
• Strong in self-governance
• Good communications skills in English (written and oral)
• Good IT practice (MS Office, CAD)
• General IT knowledge (interface, analytics and visualization technology)
• Willingness for domestic and international travel (up to 15-20% of work time)
